| Chrysler has a new five-year/100,000 mile plan that's fully transferable from one owner to the next. This new 5/100 Powertrain Warranty will stay with the vehicle, regardless of ownership. It will cover all Chrysler, Dodge (minus the Sprinter and RAM Diesel Chassis Cab) and Jeep models and extends to the high-performance SRT models, fleet sales and police cruisers as well - vehicles the old lifetime program didn't cover. |  |
| The Sprinter and RAM Diesel Chassis Cab are excluded from this coverage, but will have the 3-year/36,000 miles Basic Limited Warranty, regardless of ownership. Cummins Diesel Engines will continue to have a 5-year/100,000 miles warranty regardless of ownership. The warranty change is effective with all 2010 model-year cars and trucks. Vehicles sold prior to the 2010 model year won't be affected by the warranty coverage change. The new 5/100 plan has no deductible. It is accompanied by the usual basic 3/36 warranty, 5/100 corrosion coverage, and extended Federal emissions warranty.
